MC MONG – Blind

“Flower 9” and escaping the darkness of the past

MC Mong talks about his past relationship, regrets, and obsession with his “special someone” in the title track “Blind“. The chorus is basically the singer claiming to have gone blind due to the darkness that is left behind by the absence of his loved one. Although the lyrics can easily change the colour of the track into something dark, the bright beat (especially with the percussion in the mix!) coupled with the colourful & cheerful outlook of the MV turns the piece into an enjoyable single that is worth re-visiting .

Staying true to his reputation of bringing a “comedic” side to “hip-hop”, MC Mong delivers and it’s easy to understand how MC Mong succeeds in topping the charts effortlessly.
