Vincenzo Cassano from Italy
Vincenzo Cassano is a child adopted by an Italian family from Korea. He grows up to become a consigliere (Lawyer) for the Cassano’s, a mafia family. His stepbrother holds a grudge against him for being more loved by their father, even though being adopted. After the death of their father, Vincenzo flees Italy, not only to avoid a clash between his brother and him but also because he has one secret mission to do in South Korea.
Geumga Plaza & Family
Geumga Plaza is an apartment building plus a commercial center in Geumga District. The Babel Group of Companies want to re-develop this area and build their own Babel tower. Most of the people have already left the plaza but some are adamant about not giving it up. Vincenzo moves into this plaza with an intention to break down this building. The few people remaining in Geumga are two Buddhist monks, 2 restaurant owners, a pianist, a dancer, a dry cleaning shop owner, a married couple with a pawn shop, and Jipuragi Law Firm run by Hong Yu Chan. All these people have started a legal fight against Babel Group.
Babel Group & Wusang Law Firm
Babel is a group of corrupt companies. The company is passed down to Jang Han Seo from his father. He also has a half-brother who is never seen in public and does not seem to have an interest in the company. Babel runs all its illegal business with the help of Wusang Law firm, Hong Cha Young is their Ace lawyer. Later, the tables turn. Jang Han Seo’s half-brother takes over the company. On the other hand, things at Wusang Law Firm are also switching. Choi Myung Hee replaces Hong Cha Young as a lawyer for Babel Group and becomes the Ace lawyer at Wusang.
The Final Battle
Over the series of events, Vincenzo strikes a rivalry with the Babel Group’s new chairman. What started as a protest and a legal battle has turned into a violent and brutal war. Along with Vincenzo, Hong Cha Young, now the head of Jipuragi Law Firm, and all the residents of Geumga Plaza have put their foot forward in this battle.
