HALLYURE is very honoured to have this wonderful opportunity yet again to have a heartful conversation with this talented artist in this exclusive interview.

We are elated to have you join us yet again, welcome to the interview. Would you please introduce yourself to our readers who maybe new here?

Hi, it’s Joosiq. I’m delighted to have this interview again

. I’m a sing-a-song-writer and I do R&B, ballad, and dance music.

You debuted not so long ago in July 2020, and if I might say, it has been a rough time with the pandemic overlaying our lives, do you see any change in yourself or the music that you put out?

Actually, my debut was overlapped with the pandemic, so there wasn’t much of a chance to perform infront of audiences since then. But, if chances were made, then I’d love to perform and be on stages.

Your music keeps getting better every comeback. Would you like to take us on a tour of your personal and musical growth from debut till now?

I learned to be more confident in myself when recording than before. At first, recording in the studio was really awkward for me, but now I’m getting used to it.

You recently released your third single album. Could you tell us more about it ?

It is a remake album, originally sung by “The Jadu“. It was my pleasure and honor to have the chance to particiapte in this song.

How would you describe the music that you typically create?

It depends on my situation. Inspirations comes from different places, situations and time for me. Whenever those time comes, I try to describe them through my music.

This single was a remake of the song from the drama ‘Plum Blossom’, Can you tell us how different it was working on this project than your previous works ?

As it is known as a famous song, I was ever more cautious in singing this song. So it was hard to remake this song, because I didn’t want to change too much of the original song, but at the same time had to put my color into it.

While we groove to your new song, we are also curious about your collaboration with Jung hyo bin for this single, could you tell us more about it ?

Having to collaborate with Jung Hyo Bin was quite fun. Her soft voice was a great match with this song and with mine, too.

What are the few strengths you have gained as an artist during the pandemic? Was there anything specific which inspired you in the tough times ?

To be honest, it was always hard for me to work by myself and spend time alone. However, through this tough time, I’ve grown mentally and physically stronger than before. Working on music, spending time by myself hasn’t been a stress anymore.

Do you experience an artist’s block? If so, how do you overcome it ?

I do experience it very often. Everytime I do, I try to get refreshed by going out somewhere and not to think about it.

What is the best music advice you’ve ever been given and how did it shape the way you look at music?

There is one that I remember from my boss’ saying. He once told me that it’s better to expose my strength than to hide my weakness. This really helped me in my music career, especially during recordings.

What are your dreams and aspirations for the rest of 2021?

I want to make a big hit song for this year!

Is there any message you would like to leave for your fans and our readers?

I’ll do my best in making great songs for every listenersand I hope for alot of interest and love, too. Thank you.

Before ending this interview, I would like to ask you one last question. What is it about music that makes you feel passionate?

Music sometimes feels like an enemy and sometimes like a lover. By times I feel like I hate it, but then I love it too much.
