BEN talks about drinking on a ‘Lonely night’

The soloist BEN released a new triple single called “Lonely night” on the 2nd of December. The single consists of four tracks – the title “Lonely night”, “Lost Stars”, “Snowman” and the instrumental version of the title “Lonely night“. VIP has written, composed and arranged the entire album. Drei has participated as co-writer and co-producer with VIP for the song “Lost Stars“.

The Video
The music video conveys the message that sometimes, to find true emotions, you need to search within yourself. In the music video, we can see YUBIN of BlingBling portraying the main character. Initially, she is sad and lonely, trying to search for someone to console her. Even though she tries to shrug off the sadness, it is quite hard. Later, she is seen celebrating her birthday alone while calling friends which reduces her stress. This relief is short-lived but enough to clear her mind. Slowly, she reconciles with herself and finally finds her smile.
The Music
The track is of ballad genre with a traditional layering using the piano, acoustic guitar, drums and bass guitar. The piano and guitar govern the melody of the song. The arrangement is speaking emotionally and feels like the song transcends over a cold winter night.
BENโs vocals come from deep within, contain a mournful melancholy as they focus on the soft, intangible emotions. These days when we need healing energy more than ever, the sincerity and comfort conveyed by BEN‘s vocals warm the heart.
